Dear Members, 

Recently Charlie Lumpkin sent out a communication asking that we consider supporting 
a write in campaign to help secure funding for the National Undersea Research Program. 
As you may know NURP has done a great job of lending support in educating our NABS 
members with the educational venues that they have made available to us. 

I think that this is a worthwhile effort if our members wanted to engage in the
letter writing campaign that Charlie has put together to contact legislators on
behalf of NURP. 

Expediency is the issue here and I would ask that all members of NABS 
consider his request.
