NABS Officers

Membership in NABS is open to anyone regardless of race, color, ethnic origin, religion, sex, national origin, age, handicap, or veteran status.

Membership Levels

Although there are NABS-affiliated dive clubs, membership is on an individual basis and not based upon club affiliation.

Non-lifetime memberships are based upon a calendar year from January 1 through December 31.

The levels of membership are listed below:

Lifetime Individual Membership - $500.00

Lifetime Family Membership - $650.00

Full Individual Membership - $30.00*

Family Membership - $45.00**

Student Membership - $15.00

Non-Diver Individual Membership - $20.00

Financial Supporting Membership
Contribution of $10.00 or more

Chapter – 50% of membership belonging to NABS

Affiliate – 25% of membership belonging to NABS

Associate – new or small clubs

Membership Application

To apply for membership with NABS, you will need submit an application form or use the online payment method.

You can also obtain a form by contacting NABS headquarters and requesting one to be mailed or faxed to you. Please follow the instructions below while filling out the form and then send the form to NABS.

1.	Download and fill out the application form fields as completely as possible.
2.	Select the appropriate option relative to a new or renewal membership.
3.	For renewal memberships, please include your NABS member number.
4.	Select the appropriate membership level.
5.	Print the application form from your browser.
6.	Sign the application.
7.	Write a check or money order in the amount appropriate for the selected membership level and make it payable to: National Association of Black Scuba Divers.
8.	Mail your signed application with your payment to National Association of Black Scuba Divers, Department 588, P.O. Box 17553, Baltimore, MD 21203-7553. If you have questions about membership, please e-mail NABS Secretary.
